Terms of use

Last updated: 3 October 2026

These terms are the agreement between you and us when you use Duely. Please read them; by creating an account or using Duely, you accept them.

What Duely is

Duely helps you keep track of the subscriptions you pay for. You add them by hand, from receipts you forward or paste in, from a screenshot, or from receipts it finds in your Gmail if you connect it, and Duely adds up what they cost and reminds you by email or push notification before they renew. It doesn't connect to your bank or card, reads your Gmail only if you connect it (read-only, and only receipts), and can't make, stop or cancel any payment. Duely is currently free to use.

"Duely" means the website at heyduely.com and the Duely app for iPhone and Android; "we" and "us" mean the people who run it. You can reach us at hello@heyduely.com.

Your account and signing in

  • You need to be 18 or over to use Duely.
  • Your account is tied to your email address. You sign in with a 6-digit code we email you; there's no password. Anyone who can read your email can sign in as you, so keep your email account secure.
  • Keep your Duely forwarding address to yourself: anything sent to it lands in your account for review. You can replace it at any time.
  • Tell us at hello@heyduely.com if you think someone else has got into your account.

Your responsibilities

  • Keep what you save accurate and up to date. Reminders are only as good as the dates, prices and billing cycles you save.
  • Only forward or paste receipts that are yours, or that you have the right to share. Check what Duely reads from a receipt before you confirm it: it reads them automatically and can get things wrong.
  • Don't misuse Duely: no trying to get into other people's accounts, interfere with or overload the service, get around its limits, or use it to send spam or for anything unlawful.

Reminders are best effort

We work hard to send every reminder on time, but email and push notifications depend on your settings, on the details you saved, and on services and networks we don't control. A reminder can arrive late, land in spam, or not arrive at all. Keep an eye on your bank and card statements and on each service's own account page. Duely isn't responsible for any charge, renewal or fee you didn't cancel in time, including at the end of a free trial.

No financial advice

Totals, categories and reminders are there to help you see your own spending. Nothing in Duely is financial, legal or tax advice. Service names and logos belong to their owners; Duely shows them to help you recognise your subscriptions and isn't affiliated with or endorsed by those services.

No warranties

Duely is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including that it will be accurate, uninterrupted or error-free, or fit for a particular purpose. To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for any indirect or consequential loss, or for any loss of money or data, arising from your use of Duely. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have by law that can't be limited.

Changes to Duely and to these terms

We may change, add or remove features, or stop running Duely altogether. If we plan to shut it down, we'll let you know by email first, with reasonable notice where we can. We may also update these terms; we'll change the date at the top, and tell you by email about changes that matter. If you keep using Duely after a change, the new terms apply.

Ending your account

You can stop using Duely and delete your account at any time in Settings, in the app or on heyduely.com. Deleting it removes your data as described in the Privacy policy. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms or puts the service or other people at risk.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts of India have jurisdiction over any dispute about them.
